In 1989 Jozef Van Remoortel sees how the port expansion is taking over his potato fields. He and his wife, Frieda Apers, refuse to throw in the towel and take their first steps in the professional potato peeling and cutting industry. And that is when things got really going for them. Now, in 2015 Remo-Frit and Remo-Fresh are absolute household names.
